How do you tell if a T-Mobile phone plan has Texting?

My family has the T-Mobile plan called FamilyTime Plus. We want to get a new phone for it and we want to add texting to the plan. Do we have to upgrade to the FamilyTime Unlimited or can we just add Texting? How much would it cost?

    Contact your T-mobil rep. They can best assist you with getting what you want.

    For individual lines on their family plans for 20 per month this is shared among all the free texts however.
